Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Believe EMDR and Holistic Therapies. By booking or attending a session, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Services Offered

Services may include EMDR Therapy, Talking Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Life Coaching, Reiki and other holistic or supportive approaches.

Therapy and coaching are collaborative processes and outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Reiki and holistic sessions are complementary practices and are not a substitute for medical care.

2. Suitability & Scope of Practice

If at any point a service is considered unsuitable for your needs, you may be referred to a more appropriate professional or service.

This practice does not provide crisis support. If you are at risk of harm to yourself or others, please contact your GP, local emergency services, or a crisis helpline immediately.

3. Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential and handled in line with professional and ethical standards. Information will not be shared without your consent except where required by law, including concerns relating to serious risk of harm to yourself or others.

4. Appointments & Cancellations

Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or non-attendance may be charged in full.

If a session needs to be cancelled by the practitioner, reasonable notice will be given and an alternative offered.

5. Fees & Payment

Fees are agreed in advance and are payable prior to or at the time of the session, unless otherwise arranged.

Failure to pay for services may result in suspension of further sessions.

6. Client Responsibility

Clients are responsible for engaging honestly in sessions and for their own wellbeing between appointments. Therapy and coaching can bring up strong emotions and self-care is encouraged.

7. Communication Between Sessions

Contact between sessions is limited to practical matters such as scheduling. Therapeutic support is not provided via email, text, or messaging services.

8. Online & Remote Sessions

For online sessions, clients are responsible for ensuring a private, safe and suitable environment. While all reasonable steps are taken to maintain confidentiality, online communication carries inherent risks.

9. Complaints

If you have concerns about the service provided, you are encouraged to raise them directly so they can be addressed constructively. If unresolved, you may be directed to the relevant professional body.

10. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Further details are available in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most recent version will always be available on this website.
