Accessible specialist trauma therapy
I have deliberately kept my fees toward the more accessible end of private EMDR therapy, while still protecting the time, preparation, supervision and clinical care that good trauma work needs.
The daytime access rate is designed to make appointments between 9am and 2pm easier to fill, while keeping evening and busier appointment times available at the standard rate.

Booking deposit and cancellation policy
To reserve your appointment, a £20 booking deposit is required. This protects the clinical space held for you and helps keep appointments available for people who are ready to begin.
How the deposit works
The £20 stays on your account during therapy and is deducted from your final session payment when you finish or pause therapy.
Moving an appointment
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to move a session. With enough notice, your deposit rolls over. Late cancellation or non-attendance means the deposit is kept to cover the reserved space.
NHS and Blue Light staff concession
A 10% concession is available for NHS staff and Blue Light cardholders. To keep pricing clear, this is usually applied to the standard rate and is not combined with the daytime access rate. Please mention this during your initial consultation.

Is £60 or £70 typical for EMDR therapy?
Private EMDR fees vary widely across the UK. These fees are deliberately competitive for specialist EMDR therapy with a specialist EMDR practitioner and HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
Why offer a daytime access rate?
The daytime access rate makes appointments between 9am and 2pm more accessible and helps balance the diary, while standard fees apply to busier appointment times.
Will I need 60 or 90 minutes?
Many appointments are 60 minutes. Some EMDR processing sessions may benefit from 90 minutes, especially when clinically appropriate. We would decide this together.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions are held in a private garden practice in Billingham village, which is in Stockton-on-Tees, near Middlesbrough. Online sessions may be available where appropriate.
